Natalie Roar is an award winning fashion stylist, costume designer and creative consultant currently based in London.
With over a decade’s worth of experience working internationally with brands such as YSL Beauty, MAC, Nike, Google, Juicy Couture, Adidas, Lexus, H&M and publications including Rolling Stone, GQ Style, and gal-dem; she has solidified herself as an expert in her field. Her work consists of a diverse roster of talent within the music, fashion and film industries including Rina Sawayama, Little Simz, Zoe Kravitz, Mahalia, Stormzy, Joy Crookes, Kehlani, Paloma Elsesser, Maya Jama, Damson Idris, Daisy Ridley and Nabhaan Rizwan.
Natalie's unique creative style has been recognised amongst industry peers and in 2021 won a UK Music Video Award for Best Styling in a Video in association with i-D Magazine for her work on Joy Crookes’ “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now”.
Natalie has worked alongside photographers and directors including
Nwaka Okparaeke, Salomon Ligthelm, Jenny Brough, Dexter Navy, Daniel Regan, June Canedo, Fenn O’Meally, Leonn Ward, Daria Kobayashi Rich and Taz Tron Delix.
As a costume designer Natalie has worked on critically acclaimed short films including BAFTA nominated Bus Girl - written, directed and staring Jessica Henwick; and feature films In Camera (starring Nabhaan Rizwan and Amir El Masri) and Magpie (starring Daisy Ridley and Shazad Latif).
Along with a continued desire to develop her creative-eye as a stylist, taking on clients for both styling and creative consultancy, Natalie Roar is dedicated to uplifting and elevating images of marginalised communities and creating space for a more inclusive creative industry.
